Conscious: Foreword by Kit Carruthers
The conscious is the part of you reading this, thought presenting and controlling. Your active line of thought, the part of you that narrates your life and the non-verbal thought patterns between narration. It's the awareness of all sensory input. It triggers and sorts through considerations.
It holds items in working memory and does most of the heavy work within your attentional structure. The average person can hold up to four items consciously at once, with ADD you can hold up to seven. As the most demanding process, your mind offloads to the semi-conscious whenever possible.
Once something has been declared consciously, it migrates to your semi-conscious and then into your subconscious.
The conscious mind forms within what we know as conscious development as a baby, the thing that separates us from the animals. The conscious mind forms with the number of concepts you understand. It becomes fully developed at 1500 concepts. In the west, it takes far too long to receive the education that fully forms your conscious mind. Level one and two cognitive functioning is unlikely to ever fully develop their conscious mind.
Semi-Conscious: Foreword by Kit Carruthers
The semi-conscious is the part of you processing this, thought forming. It's your intuition and everything you know is about to form but you don't quite have it yet. It is running a background tracking system on your conscious, keeping hold on things that have drifted away from you. It runs habitual routine tasks when your conscious mind isn't so much paying attention. Most of the time it has told your conscious mind to act before your conscious mind could give it any consideration.
It's the middle ground between your conscious and subconscious. Information travels from your conscious for processing before entering your subconscious and it travels from your subconscious for processing before either presenting itself to your conscious or falling back into your subconscious.
The semi-conscious will make decisions, even at cognitive functioning level three, even ego uninvested your semi-conscious will make decisions, almost always these are self sabotage or avoidance method decisions, they can also be a number of other adaptive functioning decisions. Rarely are they positive adaptive functioning decisions. If you don't have your head on straight, if you're not aware of yourself, and you have a reason to hate or fear yourself, you may semi-consciously drive yourself into oblivion. Generally, watching yourself, you know yourself, you know what you're doing, you're not going to fall for your semi-conscious decision making, it usually takes an emotional motherfucker to distract you from your response to the emotional motherfucker and then you just perfectly repress all your thoughts or fucking repress a memory or even create a fucking false memory you fucking psychotic retard, what are you cognitive functioning level two?
Becoming entirely released from your semi-conscious decision making and attaining full comfortable control is generally something you will only ever attain with meditation or psychedelics, meditation is a little bit the winner on this one until you get into the really hardcore psychedelics like 5-MeO-DMT.
Women are more prone to semi-conscious decision making. Women are more prone to becoming aware of the fact that they are making semi-conscious decisions.
With too much filtering and repressed memories, Level one and two cognitive functioning are capable of cutting off the window to their semi-conscious mind. However even level three cognitive functioning is capable of blanking their window. These ones with a lot of this or this or this generally. But particularily when they have a lot of this.
Semi-Conscious Thought Loops
Semi-Conscious Thought Loops: Foreword by Kit CarruthersSubconscious: Foreword by Kit Carruthers
The subconscious is a system of looping information. As with all mammals all of our information is going around and around and around in the background all day every day, sparking your semi-conscious. Reminding you of what you read earlier, maybe semi-consciously you've been doing some work on this and it's time to revisit, apply what has formed to the subconscious, possibly alert your conscious. Keeping you ever connected to the life you are within, this causes both mammal problems and mammal brilliance. Maybe every now and then it's reminding you of your repressed memories, but, those will not crack fully conscious. It's interconnected to your body, it's the part of your brain that recognizes your hunger, the reason you crave certain foods is because your subconscious has recognized that your body craves certain nutrients.
There are four layers of the subconscious that we have semi-conscious access to. Layer one is information, layer two is triggers, layer three is emotion and layer four is... Broken. Layer four is broken. It's abstract brain go wrong being filtered out.
Subconscious activity can be observed and altered under the state of hypnosis, and, yes, this is a state of suggestibility. And, yes, sometimes you will find people who wish to play with this, fuck with your memory systems. It happens. However, no, the conspiracy to declare your uncle a child rapist is something we can easily declare logically false. Well, sometimes, it's probably true more than it's false but we'll get into that with religious reinforcement compartmentalization complexes and most certainly not hypnotists being pure evil. Eventually, we will be capable of observing the subconscious loop of information with neural implants. No matter how much work the neural implant does to translate what it's looking at, it will always be a difficult and confusing thing to observe. A lot of it falls under easy categorization, the lower you go in categories the more difficult it would become to comprehend.
If you're ego invested the subconscious does a lot of ego work. From your semi-conscious you're getting nothing but reinforcement and from your unconscious you're getting nothing but destruction. The more you need, the more you get.
Unconscious: Foreword by Kit Carruthers
The core is unconscious. All information enering the semi-conscious processing space springs out of your subconscious directed by your unconscious, what's really doing all the work is your unconscious. The unconscious mind is your connection to God. God as the flow of all things, God as the interconnection, God as the sum total of all minds.
Do we view this God as an individual organism individual consciousness? Yes and no. There is a communicator, the communicator is alive, in a manner, in a manner different than we are, the communicator does not know you does not understand you, the communicator only flows through all of us and delivers information. On it's own it knows basically nothing, whatever it knows it most certainly doesn't understand. On it's own it most certainly feels nothing.
Pretty much everything we currently label unconscious is subconscious or semi-conscious, the unconscious is merely the interconnection point, the tap point.
Instinct flows from the unconscious, such as why birds know to build nests... It is within their collective unconscious. It never needed to be figured out, it is merely how forms the brain of the bird. How instinct is utilized is subconscious understanding of your compartmentalization to semi-conscious action, at best it should only ever just touch conscious. Once you're capable of making it touch your conscious, all your conscious gets to do with it is observe and direct, take conscious control of it you're only going to klutz up your instinct.
In your dreams you are capable of understanding things about yourself that you did not understand, in your dreams you are even capable of understanding things about other people that you never would have seen, never would have known. No paranoid people this is not your confirmation, most of the time what you get in other people within your dreams, and in your case also outside of your dreams, is a projection. Yes, the mysterious aspect of psychedelics is God. You cannot deny it.
With the unconscious, Jung discovered something pretty unscientific, psychology had to do whatever it could to resolve this, it's one of those things like synchronicity that we do not require.
